As per a report by MediaNama, Justice Girish Kathpalia of the Delhi High Court, hearing a petition filed by the woman, ordered on September 25 that Meta immediately remove morphed, AI-generated explicit images showing her with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with copies on pornographic sites and mirror domains. The petitioner alleged that activists of the Cockroach Janta Party had used AI face-swapping tools to create the images from her photograph, displayed them on banners during a protest at Jantar Mantar, and then circulated the footage online.

The court issued notice to Meta and to four named CJP activists, and directed the Delhi Police to provide the petitioner complete protection and to file a status report within a week detailing the action taken, after she said she was receiving threats. Justice Kathpalia described the case as "extraordinary," saying "the matter is not of one lady, it is matter about the prime minister of the country," and warned that he would make the police "sensitive" to the case if they were not already. The matter is listed for further hearing on October 14.
