New York has also passed S9051B, concerning specified safety requirements for AI chatbots interacting with minors, and A3411B, which requires a conspicuous notice informing users that generative-AI outputs may be inaccurate. For AI developers, A6578B could be particularly significant because it would introduce new documentation and transparency obligations concerning training data. The measures remain subject to the applicable gubernatorial approval process.
